1.If you were famous what would your stage name be?
As a National Safety Council advocate, one thing that concerns me is the future of our teenage drivers. 11 teens die everyday as a result of texting while driving, yet studies show that 46 percent of all teenage drivers admit to texting while driving. This has to be taken seriously. I grew up in a time when we didn't use cellphones in the car. Getting teens to quit texting and driving may be a difficult task, but it’s not impossible.
2.If you would attend a celebrity wedding which, would it be?
Growing up in church as a pastor's kid, I always knew the importance of prayer and personal declarations. It wasn't until I lost my baby brother E'arron to a distracted driver, that it really hit home. Now, no matter what happens, each time I leave my family, I recite the words, "Plead the Blood," which is now a family wide prayer of protection that translates, may the blood of Christ cover you until we see each other again.
3.What is the weirdest gift you’ve ever received?
Although I love the excitement of the takeoff of an airplane, enjoy sightseeing and trying new food, what I enjoy most about traveling are the memories that I create with my husband and son.
4.What is the most random fact you know?
We age not by years, but by stories. Each year of my life has helped to write the story of the woman that I've become today. Wiser and stronger from each of life's experiences, what I like and value most about my age, is that I've learned that with prayer, hardwork and dedication, there's nothing I can't accomplish.
