1.If you were famous what would your stage name be?
Writing a gratitude journal. You cannot receive without being thankful for what you already have! In the past when I did not get what I wanted, I felt disappointed. I wish I had realised the power of gratitude earlier. I now write 3 things that I am thankful for every day and always look forward to the next day. Whether I got what I wanted or not, there is a lot to thank about.
2.If you would attend a celebrity wedding which, would it be?
What concerns me about the future is whether we will lose the ability to differentiate between real and virtual. Our children spend more time on Wifi connection than making real connections to real people. We are spending time on social media, talking to people thousands of miles away but sometimes we don’t know our neighbors. We are increasingly becoming connected yet isolated. I do believe in positive impact technology brings, we just need to find balance.
3.What is the weirdest gift you’ve ever received?
With travel, you discover yourself in a different light. Travelling offers a chance of being part of a completely different world momentarily. I like the excitement to choose the place, the research and unfolding of the place in my mind before I reach. I love the feeling of awakening I get when I realise how the landscape, language, culture and the food are all different, yet we are all the same.
4.What is the most random fact you know?
Age is a matter of mind; If you don’t mind it, it does not matter! That’s how I joke about it. I look back to the lesson learned and look forward to the opportunities I have to make new beginnings. I like this stage in life where I don’t take any setbacks seriously and any success for granted. I have seen enough of both to know they both don’t last.
